Audi R8 LMX Launched: Pricing, Design, Specifications & More

The limited-edition Audi R8 LMX was launched in the country today, and features laser headlights for the first time in India. The sports car is now open for bookings, though a global production cap of 99 units will mean this is one very, very exclusive machine.

The Audi R8 LMX is priced at INR 2.97 crore (ex-showroom Delhi).

Audi R8 LMX Design:

The LMX is instantly recognisable as the now well-entrenched Audi R8, albeit with some styling tweaks that include performance carbon fibre reinforced polymer (CFRP) lips on the front fender, side flics, and a fixed spoiler at the rear. The Singleframe grille, intakes and rear slats are finished in titanium grey and the tailpipes get high-gloss black tips.

Audi R8 LMX Specifications:

The Audi R8 LMX features a 5.2-litre, V10 petrol engine that produces 570 hp and is capable of attaining a top speed of 320 km/h, with 0-100 km/h acceleration figures of 3.4 seconds. Transmission is a seven-speed S Tronic system with power going through all wheels through a Quattro drive unit. Stopping power comes from carbon ceramic brakes all round.
