2015 Frankfurt Motor Show: Audi e-Tron Quattro Concept Unveiled
German luxury carmaker Audi brought a surprise to the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show in the form of the Audi e-tron quattro concept. The carmaker pulled the wraps off it a day ahead of the show itself!
This is an all electric SUV that will hit the dealerships in 2018.

Powering the SUV will be three electric motors-one powering the front wheels and two powering the rear, producing a combined power output of 429 horsepower.
This will help the Audi e-tron quattro concept accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds and reach an electronically restricted top speed of 210 km/h. It will also have a range of 500 km when the floor-mounted 96 kWh lithium-ion batteries are fully charged.

The SUV can be charged using DC or AC power through the Combined Charging System (CCS), which takes 50 minutes and there is also a roof-mounted solar panel to charge up the vehicle on a bright day.
Other features include:
- Adaptive air suspension
- Dynamic all-wheel steering
- Flat six-point Singleframe grille
- OLED lighting technology
- Audi virtual cockpit
