2015 Geneva Motor Show: Mercedes-Maybach Pullman Details Revealed
Details have emerged about the Mercedes-Maybach Pullman that is set to debut at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. The new limousine will be Mercedes-Maybach's second model, and will reside at the top of the Maybach range, above the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class.
The Pullman stretches across an amazing 6499 mm, so there's room for four in the fully customisable ‘club lounge' interior. The car stands 1598 mm off the ground, so occupants will benefit from improved headroom (over 100 mm) over the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class as well.
The exclusive cabin is split by an electric partition that can provide varied levels of privacy, since it can be changed from transparent to opaque at the touch of a button, and used in conjunction with the standard curtains. A pair of forward-facing, super-luxurious executive seats should keep its two VIP occupants very content.
Comfort will know no equal because these seats feature treats like separately adjustable backrests and cushioning. Face-to-face conversations and business meetings are also possible in the Pullman because of two additional rearward-facing, fold-down seats.
The entire interior is upholstered in leather, including the door frames and seat consoles, and features like an electrically-extendable 18.5-inch monitor and a Burmester 3D surround sound system should transport passengers to a new dimension in high-end luxury mobility.
The top-of-the-line Pullman will be Mercedes-Maybach Pullman S 600 that gets a 530 hp, 6.0-litre, V12 biturbo engine that produces maximum torque of 830 Nm. With regards to pricing, unarmoured models will begin at around half a million euros, with deliveries scheduled to commence from the beginning of 2016.
