World's Fastest Diesel Sports Car Trident Iceni
A British sports car brand, Trident has announced their fastest and most efficient diesel sports car, the Iceni, will be available globally for a price of 96,000 Pounds.
Trident has launched two vehicles, the first being the Iceni Magna, a fastback. The second car is an estate called Iceni Venturer. These cars are expected to have a range of 3,218 kilometres on a full tank. It can run on either mineral or bio-diesel.
The Iceni is a unique sports car that combines speed and power with efficiency. This Trident can achieve a top speed of 306 km/h, which makes it the fastest diesel powered sports car in the world.
Under the bonnet of the Iceni is a V8, 6.6-litre turbodiesel engine. It generates 395 bhp along with 948 Nm of peak torque. It can achieve the 0-96 km/h sprint in a quick 3.7 seconds.
The car has been designed by Phil Bevan, Designer and Founder of Trident, he explains,"The Trident cars deliver incredible speed and performance combined with outstanding fuel efficiency, achieved through our unique torque multiplication technology."
Being a British-made car has a unique and appealing design with clean lines and curves all around and a hand sculpted rear. Trident will build the Iceni to complete customer spec and each will be unique.
Trident has so far incorporated their Iceni with 39 bespoke components, which were designed and manufactured by the British marque. They have worked specially on the independent control of each car seat along with the oculight roof.
