Volkswagen PDC In Bangalore By 2015
Volkswagen India has confirmed that its new PDC(Part Distribution Centre) will be inaugurated in Bangalore by the end of 2015. This will be the German automobile manufacturers second PDC in India. The facility will be state of the art and will be vital for the manufacturer.
The German automobile manufacturer expressed it would open more such centres in the coming years. Volkswagen understands that to be successful and to grow in the competitive Indian market they need strong after sales service of spare parts. They organised a ceremony yesterday that will begin the groundwork.

The first Part Distribution Centre by Volkswagen was set up in Gurgaon back in 2012. This facility takes care of the northern region. The new Bangalore facility will take care of the southern region and will increase distribution.

Berndt A Buchmann, Volkswagen Group's Sales India Director for Group Service, commented, "With its strategic location, the PDC in Bangalore will significantly contribute towards reduction of the current lead time needed to provide genuine parts to dealers and service centres."

He also said, "With delivery of genuine parts within 24 hours to Volkswagen Group India brands' dealer network in the southern region, the company aim to focus on driving higher customer satisfaction."
In India Volkswagen Group has brought its other automobile brands too. They are Audi, Lamborghini, Porsche, Skoda and Volkswagen. The Bangalore PDC will provide parts for all five brands. The German manufacturer's goal is to improve efficiency in its after sales department in India.
