Trion Nemesis American Supercar
America has not had a home built supercar for a long time now; however, all that is bound to change with the new 2,000 horsepower generating Trion Nemesis. This car is bound to be America's next supercar.
The latest trend emerging is a bunch of new private car manufacturers hoping to set shop and provide exquisite looking cars. Trion Supercars is based in California and will be launching a new car called 'Nemesis'.
Trion Supercars will be creating a 2,000 horsepower generating car. The Nemesis will be driver-centric sportscar, it will be made keeping in mind the wants and needs of it's rich clientele.
Trion Supercar don't have any concrete plans as of now and the Nemesis exists only in digital sketches.
Trion Supercars, company leader, Richard Patterson explains, he wants to compete with the European market, where they create hand-made cars with great detail.
Trion believes their Nemesis will be among the world's fastest cars once ready. They plan to put in a twin-turbocharged V8 engine, which will produce over 2,000 hp. The car will sport an eight-speed sequential gearbox.
Trion claims their supercar would hit the 60 mph barrier in 2.8 seconds and will have a top speed of 270 mph. These figures would compete with supercars like Agera One:1 from Koenigsegg and Hennessey's Venom GT.
The body and chassis of Nemesis will be made of carbon-fibre. It will also have a screen for internet connectivity. The car boot could accommodate a pair of golf clubs, which is great in terms of it being a supercar.
Everything said and done, it will be great to see if Trion can live up to the hype it is creating. They are expected to prepare a prototype by this year and begin testing. Sales will begin from next year and the Nemesis will cost around 1 million dollars.
