Toyota India Touch One Million Sales
Toyota and their Indian partner Kirloskar reached a landmark of one million unit sales.
Toyota Kirloskar Motor sold their one millionth car, in Cochin. The authorised Toyota dealer was Nippon Toyota and the car delivered was an Etios. They had organised a special ceremony for their 1 millionth satisfied customer.
Toyota Kirloskar Motor Senior Vice President, N. Raja explains, it was an important occassion for Toyota selling their 1 millionth car in Indian market.
The Japanese car manufacturer has a strong foothold in MPV/SUV segment and have also been the market leader in the respective segment.

Toyota are proud and happy selling 1 million cars in India however, would love to reach the next goal soon.
The Japanese company had earlier focussed on MPV and SUV segment. With the launch of Etios and Etios Liva a few years ago in 2011, they ventured into selling mass units.
It is due to their latest offerings that Toyota has achieved a million units being sold in India, which was possible in a short amount of time.
Toyota established itself in India around 1997. They today have a capacity to produce almost 3,10,000. We congratulate Toyota and wish them all the best in achieving their next target soon.
