Toyota Order Biggest Recall Till Date
Japanese automobile manufacturer Toyota Motors have ordered a recall. The recall involves 6.58 million vehicles worldwide. It is considered to be the biggest recall in history, till date.
Toyota Motors found a few problems with around 1058 vehicles. Due, to which, the automobile manufacturer issued a press release to officially announce the biggest recall in automobile history.
In India, Toyota has issued a recall for about 45,000 units of Innova MPV to rectify defect in the steering column.

The Japanese car maker has reported faults in steering column, seat railing and wiring harness. The problem is with their Yaris and Scion xA urban vehicle.

Toyota explains these vehicles were produced between June, 2004 to December, 2010. There are a few other vehicles too that are up for recall, they are the pick-up Hilux and their SUV called RAV4.

Toyota states that the fixture will be done for free by their work stations. The Japanese car manufacturer confirms there is a manufacturing defect or even a flaw in the design. So far no accidents or deaths were reported due to the faults in their vehicles.
Out of the total number of vehicles affected Toyota has confirmed European numbers. They stand at an astounding 825,000 vehicles to be recalled in European countries so far.
