Toyota India Launch Corolla Altis At INR 11,99,000
Toyota India had revealed their Corolla Altis 11th generation model at the 2014 Auto Expo held in New Delhi. The Japanese manufacturer has launched the car today on 27th of May, 2014 as we had reported to you yesterday.
Toyota have launched their 2014 Corolla Altis at a starting price of INR 11,99,000 for the petrol option while the diesel variant will cost INR 13,07,324 for the base variant all prices are ex-showroom Delhi.
Toyota's dealers have been accepting bookings of the new Corolla Altis prior to its launch. A token amount of INR 50,000 was accepted as booking amount for the facelifted 2014 Corolla Altis. Toyota have a successful run with the Corolla banner since 2003 the Japanese manufacturer has sold 88,500 vehicles in India.
Toyota will be offering the 2014 Corolla Altis in four diesel variants while, the petrol powered vehicle will be offered in five petrol options. They will also offer a special package which they call 'The Benchmark Collection'. The 2014 Corolla Altis will sport Toyota's new design philosophy.
The new facelifted 2014 Toyota Corolla Altis wears a new chrome grille. It will have clearance lamps along with LED headlights mixed with projectors. To improve aerodynamics and balance of the vehicle Toyota have lowered the Corolla Altis by five millimetres.
Inside the new Corolla Altis is a three-spoke steering wheel wrapped in leather. The cyber carbon piano black instrument panel gives the interior a premium feel and catches your eye. The door handles are chromed and portray a rich and premium feel all over. The rear seats also recline which, is a segment first.
The new Corolla Altis will sport a 1.4-litre diesel I 1 ND D-4D engine, it will sport variable nozzle turbo along with an intercooler. The engine will be mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. The petrol engine will be powered by a 1.8-litre VVTi engine. It will be mated to a 7-speed CVT-i sequential shiftmatic.
Toyota will be offering their new Corolla Altis in Silver Mica Metallic, Champaign Mica Metallic, Grey Metallic, Blue Metallic, Celestial Black, White Pearl Crystal Shine and Super White II.
Toyota will add several safety features to their car. It will have ABS and EBD with brake assist, dual SRS airbags, immobilizer and GIA Body. It will also have a rear camera with a 7-inch LCD screen in the vehicle.
