Toyota Etios Cross; Booking Begins Delivery Soon
Toyota have launched their Etios Cross at the recent Auto Expo. The Japanese car was showcased noticing, Indians new found love with compact SUVs.
Bookings have commenced and everyone was wondering when will they get their vehicles. Toyota officials confirm deliveries will start in this year, May.
The compact SUV can be booked by paying 50,000 rupees. It will face competition from Ford EcoSport, Volkswagen Cross Polo and the soon to come Avventura from Fiat.

The vehicle will be launched in May, which is when the deliveries will commence.
The Etios Cross will garb a rough and tough look, unlike the hatchback. It will feature a bold front grille with guard, sides will be cladded for protection from elements.
Diamond cut alloy wheels, Rear cladding integrated with badging along with a roof spoiler, add to the sporty element of the car.

The car will also sport fog lamps which will be integrated with turn indicators and OVRM's will also be fitted with turn indicators. The interiors of Etios Cross will be in Piano black color. Seats will have a sporty look with logo and white stitching. For entertainment a 2-DIN audio system supporting USB, AUX-in and Bluetooth will be supplied. The steering wheel will be wrapped in leather and will have stereo controls.
The Etios Cross is based on the Liva however it is 110mm longer, 40mm wider and 45mm taller than the Hatchback. Ground clearance has been improved to 170mm, boosting the off road persona.
Toyota will offer the Etios Cross in both Petrol as well as Diesel. The engines will be shared to lower costs of the new compact SUV. Offering the same 1.5 and 1.2 litre petrol option, along with 1.4 litre Diesel engine.
