Toyota Builds A Car For Superheroes

Toyota had recently unveiled its prototype supercar christened as FT-1. The model was revealed in an exquisite red paint scheme. Now they have revealed a more exuberant looking graphite paint scheme for its concept coupe.

Even before this vehicle has been launched, there are several individuals who have driven the FT-1. The supercar has been driven in the virtual arena by many. Toyota's concept coupe is available on Gran Turismo 6 along with the original FT-1 and FT-1 Vision GT.

Selene Lee, a CALTY designer, explained, "In the colour studio we help create the atmosphere of the vehicle, and our aim was to ensure everything supported the driver through efficient choices. The saddle leather maintains that same ‘in the zone' driving intention, while bringing in a more premium feeling."

He further added, "From the start of the FT-1 project, we wanted the driver to have a feeling of flow while at the wheel, to be able to focus on the road and nothing else."

The interior has also been upgraded to an improved saddle tan element. The new FT-1 sports an interior that has been inspired by superhero movies of recent times. They have given it a dark look instead of a more vibrant and colourful character, for its interior.

Toyota first showcased this concept coupe at the Detroit Motor Show. The Japanese manufacturer believes its supercar can be the ultimate sports car across the Earth. The supercar has been designed in a way to connect the driver with the machine.

The FT-1 by Toyota will now be available on Gran Turismo 6 for Playstation owners. All three versions of the supercar will be available in the virtual platform. The Red as well as Graphite model, along with the Vision GT of Toyota FT-1 for online players to race with.
