Tata Nano Twist looks the same as the standard Nano from the outside and is only distinguished by the stylish ‘Twist' badge at the back of the car. Additionally, the Twist will also be available in a new ‘Damson Purple' body colour that was seen at last year's Auto Expo.

Equipped with electronic power steering developed specifically for the Nano by German company ZF, Nano Twist should prove to much easier to maneuver tight corners at low speeds and while parking. While the steering ratio itself remains the same, the brushless motor that powers the steering wheel will reduce the effort required to turn the wheels.
The first significant update to the Nano since it launch, electronic or otherwise, the Nano Twist should appeal more to women driving in the city.
Other updates that are likely to feature in the 2014 Nano include a new center mounted instrument cluster that consists of a speedometer, fuel level indicator, trip and LED time and temperature display. The new dashboard is most likely to make it to other Nano variants as well.
Tata Nano Twist will reportedly be available in ‘XC' and ‘XT' variants and is expected to be priced at least Rs 15,000 over the non-power steering equipped Nano.
