Tata Motors To Introduce Nano Twist XE As New Base Model

By Ajinkya

India's most trusted automobile manufacturer Tata Motors has recently launched its Zest compact sedan. The vehicle is set to usher in a new generation of buyers in the domestic market. At 2014 Auto Expo, the Indian manufacturer had showcased its Zest, Bolt as well as several other concept vehicles.

Tata Motors had a dream of preparing the most affordable vehicle for Indian customers. The result of that project was Tata Nano, which was offered to a handful of buyers for a price tag of INR 1,00,000. Nano was the fruit of Ratan Tata, whose dream was to provide an option of a four-wheeler to every Indian.

Now in an attempt to make their products more appealing Tata Motors launched its Nano Twist model. The Indian manufacturer will now scrap all of its existing variants and will offer a new base model. It will be christened as the Nano Twist XE and will be a new base variant.

The Nano Twist is offered with the ease of power steering and will be offered in their new base trim as well. Tata Motors offers several variations of Nano in India and believes it is confusing for buyers. The Nano standard without power steering will not be available in the coming future.
