Tata Motors Ravi Kant Retires As Vice Chairman
Tata Motors has a strict policy in regards to the retirement age of an individual. The same was followed by Non-Executive Vice Chairman Tata Motors, Ravi Kant. He has retired from the board of company, effective May 31st, 2014. The Indian automobile giant has a strict policy of not letting its employees work beyond the age of 70 years.
Mr. Ravi Kant has worked in various areas during his stint with Tata Motors. During July 29th, 2005 to June 1st, 2009 he played the role of Managing Director. He retired from the post as Non-Executive Vice Chairman and was highly appreciated by the Board of Directors.
Cyrus P Mistry, Tata Motors Chairman, expressed, "On behalf of the board and Tata Motors I would like to thank Ravi for his valuable contribution in the growth and development of the company. I wish him all the best for the future."

Ravi Kant As played the role of Chairman to Tata Daewoo Commercial Vehicle, Tata Cummins and Hispano Carrocera. He also was on the board of TAL manufacturing solutions, Voltas and Tata Motors European Technical Centre.
Tata Motors will be soon launching two new products in the Indian market the Bolt hatchback and the sedan Zest. The two cars follow the new design philosophy of the Indian based manufacturer. They are expected to launch within this year and we expect the launch to be around the festive season.
