Tata Manza Hybrid Launching Soon
Indian automobile giant Tata Motors had showcased the hybrid version of the Manza sedan at the 2014 Auto Expo, which was held in New Delhi. The acceptance of hybrid vehicles in India is growing gradually and Tata feels its hybrid sedan will be in demand soon.
Tata Motors will be the only Indian manufacturer to offer hybrid vehicles in the domestic market. The Manza hybrid sedan will sport a 1.05-litre Direct Common Rail turbocharged diesel powered engine. It will also have a 45 kW Electric Traction Motor thus making it a hybrid vehicle.

Tata will provide its hybrid Manza with a CVT(Continuously Variable Transmission) gearbox. It is expected that the sedan will be able to achieve 1000 kilometres on a full tank along with a full charge. The Indian manufacturer has kept performance details under wraps and will reveal them soon.
Tata sells the Manza sedan in India between the price range of INR 5,86,000 to INR 8,08,000. The soon to be launched hybrid vehicle will cost significantly higher than their current car. On the plus side Manza hybrid will be an eco-friendly car and will be the first Indian breed of hybrids by an Indian manufacturer.

The Manza hybrid will resemble the same design of the current generation Manza. Tata will maintain the originality of its sedan and will not make it different looking. We expect the hybrid Manza to be launched within this calendar year.
