Skoda Cars At Geneva Motor Show; 2014
The Geneva Motor Show is soon approaching and all manufacturers are gearing up. Skoda too will be unveiling a host of products however, they aren't new cars just special editions or upgrades.
Skoda will be showcasing their special L&K edition, Monte Carlo edition and a CNG variant octavia. There will also be Yeti, Citigo and Rapid spaceback on display.

Skoda plans to be more offensive, by launching bigger models in 2014. The brand sold 80,900 units already in 2014, which is a brilliant figure. They plan to sell globally 1.5 million units per year in the coming future.
Skoda Citigo
The Citigo is a Monte Carlo edition, it is a mini car. This car would do great in India if Skoda got it here. It is small in size however, looks are sporty.
Skoda Octavia Estate L&K
Skoda Octavia Estate L&K will sport 18" alloy wheels, bi-xenon headlights with LED DRLs, LED tail lights, a 4-spoke steering wheel with audio controls, Alcantara and leather seats, Canton music system and more.
Skoda Octavia L&K
It features cosmetic upgrades as the Octavia Estate and vice-versa. They both will be offered in three engine option a 1.8 litre TSI engine producing 180 PS of power. The other two will be diesel options, a 2.0 litre diesel churning out 150 PS and !84 PS each. They will have the options of both manual as well as DSG automatic transmission.
Skoda Yeti Monte Carlo
The Monte Carlo is a sporty option from Skoda and has been applied to the Yeti SUV. They will sport aluminium 15 to 17" black wheels. It will also have a black roof as well as design features in black. Interiors will feature sports seats with distinct fabric design, steering wheel stitched in red and black interior.
Skoda Octavia G-TEC
Skoda Octavia G-TEC will be their first CNG powered vehicle. This would do great in Indian market as CNG vehicles are on the rise, especially among tourist vehicles. The CNG fitted car has a range of 410 kms. Skoda will commence production from May.
Skoda Octavia Scout
The Octavia Scout is targeted as an all round car. It has strong off-road looks however, it is sporty and well planted on long highway commutes. The car will be offered in a single petrol variant while, diesel will have two options.
