SIAM Hold Their 54th Annual Convention In New Delhi
The Indian auto industry is a place every manufacturer wants to be. The auto industry is expected to grow at a tremendous speed. The coming five years are expected to be the golden period in auto sector.
Present at the event was Ramesh Suri, President ACMA and Chairman, Global Autotech, Vinod Dasari, Vice President SIAM and Managing Director, Ashok Leyland, Vikram Kirloskar, President, SIAM and Vice Chairman, Toyota Kirloskar Motor and Vishnu Mathur, Director General, SIAM.
This was their 54th Annual Convention, it involved several influential people from the auto industry. They discussed the policies and expected growth from the auto industry. They also paid keen attention to the development of India's economy.

Vikram Kirloskar, President, SIAM and Vice Chairman, Toyota Kirloskar Motor commented, the government has done an excellent job by supporting the auto industry in crucial times. He further added that there are five aspects to confirm the growth of auto industry.
They are Fiscal policies, Emissions, Safety roadmap, Competition laws along with Vehicle technologies and fuel and trade policies. The Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers also known as SIAM, appreciated the support by the Indian government.
India's newly elected Prime Minister was also thanked, for making India a global hub of automobile manufacturers. Anant Gangaram Geete, Minister of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises, Government of India, expressed that his government is prepared to support the automobile industry to achieve growth.

SIAM members stressed that the next five years is the golden era of auto sector in India. However, implementation of several policies and vital law changes are necessary for growth. This is possible only when there is complete cooperation of the government, which will be provided from now onwards.
