Seat Ibiza Cupster For Worthersee Celebrates 30th Anniversary Of Ibiza
Seat Ibiza Cupra is your average hatchback. There's nothing special about the car. So how do your turn an average car into a concept worthy of a show like Worthersee and also celebrate the Ibiza's 30th anniversary?
Seat decided to achieve this by chopping off the roof and turning it into a roadster. From the looks of it, we would have to say Seat has failed at turning the regular car into a show car.

Seat Ibiza Cupster, which is a combination of Cupra and Roadster, has no roof and a low wraparound strip of tinted class instead. The two passengers it can seat are still kept safe by the seating height, which is 80mm lower than in the production Ibiza Cupra.
The car wears an exclusive"New Orange" colour and 18-inch wheels. Other than these changes, the exterior of the Cupster is largely unchanged from the production model.
The engine is a 1.4 TSI unit coupled to a DSG dual-clutch transmission driving the front wheels. While the stock car delivers 177 horsepower, the Cupster has higher performance, though it's not been specified.

The interior has not been previewed yet, but it does sound good, unlike the exterior. Seat has kept the interior minimal, taking inspiration from Ibiza racecars from the Ibiza Trophy.
Minimalist instruments, cockpit with black Alcantara upholstery, low-slung racing bucket seats, steering wheel wrapped in pure aniline leather, which is an extremely soft kind of leather.
That's about it. Seat will showcase the Ibiza Cupster during the Worthersee Tour which will be held from May 28th till 31st.
