Renault Koleos 2014 Price And Feature; Facelift

Renault will be unveiling the Koleos at the 2014 Auto Expo. The SUV from the French manufacturer has not been overly popular with the Indian market, none the less a facelift could change its fortunes.

Prices and features for the Koleos have been leaked online. A slash in price is expected and prices could start at Rs. 22.36 lakhs.

The Koleos is only available as 4x4 matched with an automatic gearbox, for India. The new model will have an option of a 4x2 and 4x4 manual gearbox. Along with a 4x4 Automatic option.

All of the option will have the same 2.0 liter diesel engine, which will be assembled at Oragadam, Chennai.

The 4×4 option will generate tremendous power and performance, boasting figures of 173 PS power and torque at 360 Nm.

The 4x2 variant Koleos will generate 150PS of power and 320 Nm of torque and will be matched with a 6 speed manual gearbox.

The ARAI rating suggests fuel efficiency of 17.15 kmpl in the 4×2 while the 4×4 MT will return 16.26kmpl and the 4×4 AT version will deliver 14.56kmpl.

The car will feature a new front grille, prominent change to the front, redesigned bumpers, two tone wheel design, leather upholstery and wood over the dashboard.

Infotainment will include R Link multimedia system, 7" touch screen, console mounted joystick, reverse camera, blind spot warning system and dual zone climate controls.

The Renault Koleos 4×2 MT is expected to be priced at Rs. 22.36 lakhs, 4×4 MT will attract Rs. 25.19 lakhs and 4×4 AT will cost Rs. 26.25 lakhs.
