Impressive Porsche Macan Launches In India, Already Sold Out
German sports car and SUV manufacturer, Porsche has finally launched the impressive compact SUV, the Macan in India. The new car will retail between INR 1.0 crore and 1.1 crore.

Don't go out rushing to purchase the car just yet though, since the country's entire allocation of Macans for 2014 has already been booked. India waits with the rest of the world now; the global allocation of 50,000 units is fully sold out.

Porsche are offering the Macan here in two variants, the Turbo S petrol version and the Macan S diesel, and retail for INR 1.1 crore and INR 1 crore respectively.
Porsches have always been known for impressive performance and the Macan is no let down in this department, not by a long shot. The compact SUV, in Turbo form accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 4.8 seconds, and even the diesel manages a quickfire 6.1 seconds for the same burst.
The Macan gets an impressive list of standard equipment that includes air suspension with ride height adjustment, fully variable all-wheel-drive, bi-xenon headlamps, three-zone air con and more.
The Macan Turbo features a 3.6-litre, petrol V6 motor that produces all of 394 bhp while the 3.0-litre, V6 diesel unit produces 254 bhp, which should excite the Porsche fan. And woo more others, as the Macan opens up a previously untapped segment for the exclusive German company.
