Porsche Cayenne GTS Officially Unveiled

German super car manufacturer Porsche has recently unveiled its new Cayenne GTS. They offer SUVs like Macan, Panamera and Cayenne, however, the GTS badge is reserved for their power packed vehicles.

The very first Porsche to carry the GTS badge was back in 1963 with 904 Carrera GTS. The German manufacturer had launched its first modern GTS model in 2007 as Cayenne GTS. They will now be replacing it with an updated version the vehicle.

Porsche will provide its Cayenne GTS with the same 3.6-litre V8 naturally aspirated engine. The engineers have been able to extract 440 horsepower, along with 600 Nm of peak torque. This performance SUV can accelerate from 0 to 100 kph in 5.2 seconds and can attain a top speed of 260 kph.

The Cayenne GTS will provide owners with a decent fuel consumption of 0.9 litres for every 100 kilometres driven. Porsche will provide its vehicle with sports exhaust system as standard fitment. They will also offer a more sporty version of the vehicle with Sport Chrono package.

The German will reveal its Cayenne GTS to general public at 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show on 19th November. We believe Porsche will bring this performance SUV to India as well, however, it would cost upwards of INR 71,12,502 ex-showroom.

Porsche Cayenne GTS will sport several features as standard. It will feature an 8-speed Tiptronic S with Auto stop/start. other features include automatic tailgate, multi-function sports steering wheel with paddle shifter and bi-xenon headlights with 4-point LED daytime driving lights.
