Polaris Wins Desert Storm; 2014
The 12th edition of Desert Storm took place in New Delhi on 1st March, 2014. Polaris RZR XP 900 won this years Desert Storm 2014 Rally in the Quad class.
Polaris is the world leader in off road and all terrain vehicles. They took part this year in the challenging desert rally, 'Desert Storm' 2014 for the third year consecutively.
The rally extravaganza begun on 24th February, 2014 and ended on 1st March, 2014.
Polaris entered their two vehicles in separate classes. The RZR XP 900 took part in Xtreme four wheel category. While Polaris Sportsman 850 was competing in the moto/quad category.

Polaris entered the Desert Storm 2014 with its RZR XP 900 with Raj Singh Rathore and Vishnu Singh. While the Sportman 850 was driven by Ankush Gulati.

Polaris took part in the challenging Desert Storm and secured 1st place with the RZR XP 900 in Xtreme four wheelers class. While their Sportsman 850 secured 1st place in Quad category and 6th in moto/quad category.

55 participants took part in Xtreme 4x4 group, another 34 took part in Rally Moto, which was for motorcycles. Winners were awarded based on the fastest time set by individuals in their category.

The Desert Storm 2014 begun at Sardarshahar, Rajasthan on 24th of February. Participants of the rally had to cover 2,500 kms to reach their destination of Jaipur. This year the challenge was tougher with three night drives.

Polaris designs and manufacturers ATV/ORVs specially to conquer the off-road terrain. The engine and handling is specially tuned to go fast and have control over rough terrain. The vehicles have great ground clearance as well as great suspension to make the experience more comfortable.
