Opel Launches Limited Edition VR46 Adam; Pic & Video
Opel has launched a new limited edition called the VR46 variant. This is a great marketing strategy devised by Opel to make their cars more appealing in the current tough market conditions.
This is not the first time Opel has given their Adam model a celebrity name and theme. There are many such Adam's that they have launched market specific.
The VR46 limited edition will be on sale in Italy alone. Opel explains this is their way of commemorating the seven-time MotoGP winner, Valentino Rossi.
They Adam will not get any performance upgrades being a VR46 edition. It gets an all black paint scheme with neon yellow alloy highlights.
Opel explain that Valentino Rossi has aided in the development of the limited edition Adam. Which, translates to the Italian being paid an exuberant amount of money, so they could use his name.
The VR46 Adam will be customisable into 12 different looks for individuality. They will include 3 color option for the roof and four color options for the body.
Opel will also offer a special VR46 logo livery for their Adam, which will consist of neon yellow color. The VR46 limited edition Opel Adam is based upon the SLAM variant.
Valentino Rossi explains,"Opel ADAM convinced me immediately, and not only for the lines, accessories, technology. I find it really fun with the possibility of being able to customize many variations, I tried so many different combinations: I do not know how many there are, but certainly enough to be able to take some satisfaction."
