No More Texting While Driving By Apple
Innovators of new tech, American multinational company Apple has applied for a patent of its new system. The new system will prevent drivers from sending text messages while behind the wheel of a car.
Apple has developed a system that will create a 'lock-out mechanism'. This means it will prevent the phone from doing certain functions when an individual is driving and will mainly block features like texting.

Apple had to submit all their information to the patent office, which describes that they would introduce sensors in a mobile phone. These sensors will judge the speed a person is moving at. The system will also judge whether the person is seated at the drivers seat or as a passenger
In the patent there is also an application of blocking network, while in a moving car. They also explain that a car could also contain gadgets that could help in this regard, reports the source.

Apple had applied for the patent of this system that will ensure drivers don't text while driving in 2008. It has been published and given permission recently though. Officials state that it is difficult to catch an individual texting as he drives as the mobile phone can be easily hidden and kept out of sight.
Apple has also applied for a patent for its 'transparent texting' system. This system helps in texting while walking and makes it safer too. It converts the phone background to live video feed.
