Nissan Select Andres Iniesta & Thiago Silva As Ambassadors
Japanese automobile giant Nissan are the official partners for UEFA this year. They have just announced their global ambassadors will be Andres Iniesta, who plays for Spain and Barcelona. They also have confirmed Thiago Silva, who plays for Brazil and Paris Saint-Germain.
Bastien Schupp, Vice President, Marketing, Nissan Europe, explains, "Nissan is absolutely delighted to welcome Andrés and Thiago to the Nissan family as our UEFA Champions League ambassadors and we are really excited that they will be heavily involved in our brand new global advertising campaign."
He further added, "As two of the game's leading players who have won multiple titles between them, Andrés and Thiago will bring their passion and enthusiasm to Nissan and together we will innovate to excite the fans."

Both players will be seen in several television commercials to promote Nissan as a brand. They will also attend several events and launch of products for the Japanese manufacturer. The first of their promotions will be telecasted on the 12th of August, 2014.
Nissan is the global sponsor of UEFA Super Cup and UEFA Champions League. The Japanese automotive manufacturer will be an official sponsor from 2014 to 2018. Nissan has strategically chosen the European football league event to promote its products.

Thiago Silva expressed, "I'm very happy to be working with Nissan over the upcoming football season. The UEFA Champions League is a great tournament which features some of the best teams, players, managers and innovators in the game.
Andres Iniesta commented, "I'm thrilled to work with Nissan on their partnership with the UEFA Champions League. Having won the tournament three times in my career, the competition is very special to me and takes a tremendous amount of hard work and innovation to win."
