Nissan GT Academy In India In Association With Playstation
Nissan, along with its partner Sony PlayStation today launched announced the launch of its GT Academy motorsports video game championship in India. Nissan GT Academy, now in its sixth year, is present in Europe, Russia, the USA, the Middle East and South Africa.
Nissan GT Academy will be a series of live events which will be held in select 5 Indian cities in "high-footfall" shopping malls in which participants will compete against each other in PlayStation exclusive Gran Turismo 6 races.
The preliminary rounds will be held online on the Sony PlayStation Network, with the inaugural rounds set to take place at the Auto Expo on Feb 6.

From the preliminary rounds that will be held in these five cities fourteen fastest contestants will go head to head in the National Final. These fourteen participants will go through intensive two day training that will include physical and mental training programme.
Six of the best participants will then be sent to take part in the International Race Camp at Silverstone in the UK.
