Nissan Cuts Prices To Benefit Customers
Thanks to the interim budget of 2014-2015, the government has cut a percentage of excise duties on cars as well as bike. Most of the car manufacturers have officially announced a cut in price of their vehicles.
Nissan too has received the tax benefit in terms of interim budget 2014-2015. The Japanese car manufacturer has announced today it will relay their benefits by slashing prices of their cars. Thus, gaining confidence with their customers.

The Indian Government had announced earlier a change in taxation, according to the Interim Union Budget for this year.
The new prices will be applicable from 18th February, 2014 onwards. Nissan will reduce prices of its cars varying between 4 to 6%. The reduction will apply to Sunny, Terrano, Evalia, Teana, Micra and Micra Active.
"The reduction in excise duty is a welcome move towards revival of the Indian automobile industry," stated Kenichiro Yomura, President, Nissan India Operations
He further added, "We at Nissan are happy to pass 100% of the tax benefits to our customers. We are confident this will make our products more accessible and drive growth across the range."
This is an excellent move by Nissan and would definitely benefit both the customer and manufacturer. We expect the Japanese manufacturer to do well in this period and reduction in prices will definitely spike up sales.
However, certain manufacturers haven't still announced price cuts, which is entirely personal choice by the manufacturer. We however, feel it to be a good gesture to win customers by easing of prices by a considerable amount.
