New Volvo Dealership Inaugurated In Chandigarh
The Swedish car manufacturer is getting aggressive with setting up dealerships in India. Volvo have now opened a showroom in Chandigarh and will be inaugurating many more dealerships in the near future. The new Volvo Auto India dealership has been opened in Chandigarh with the Krishna Group.
Sumit Passi is the owner of the new Volvo dealership in Chandigarh. Krishna Group currently has dealerships of BMW cars, Skoda Auto, Honda two-wheelers, JCB earth moving machinery, Tata Motors commercial vehicles and many more premium vehicle manufacturers.
"Buoyed by our increased acceptability among our valued customers in the last 2-3 years, we are now looking at further strengthening our foothold and expanding our reach in the Indian market. With the all new Volvo Retail Experience at the Chandigarh showroom, we have moved yet another step closer to our customers," Tomas Ernberg, Managing Director, Volvo Auto India told source.
The new dealership at Chandigarh is located at Phase 2 behind LTS Hotel in an Industrial area. The showroom will house Volvo's entire line-up for the Indian market. It comprises of a workshop, with special services provided by Volvo Auto India. They will provide a 24-hour helpline, drivers who drop their vehicles for service and maintenance can avail free lunch at the showroom.
Owner of the Chandigarh Volvo Auto India dealership, Sumit Passi, expressed that he is very happy to join hands with Volvo Auto India. He is impressed with the core values of the Swedish manufacturer, which are technology, safety and design. He believes that they will be able to make Volvo more accessible to the premium luxury car buyers of India.
