Volkswagen Launches New Polo In UK
Volkswagen has announced a new 2014 version Polo for UK customers. The new car will be safer and more comfortable than the previous generation Polo.
The 2014 Volkswagen Polo will cost 11,100 Pounds and the top most variant will cost 19,715 Pounds. The new cars will sport more efficient engines.
German car manufacturer will be providing the new Polo with a 1.0 litre MPI engine with either 60 hp or 75 hp. There will also be an optional power packed 1.2 litre engine producing either 90 hp or 112 hp.
A diesel 1.4 litre three-cylinder TDI engine will produce either 75hp or 90 hp. There is also a 1.4 litre, 150-horsepower producing petrol mill. The important note is that all these new engines are EU6- compliant.
The exterior of the 2014 Volkswagen Polo will receive a minor update in the styling department. There will be no drastic change from the earlier generation Polo. The new car will be available in a choice of 6 variants.
The Germans will equip the Polo with features like Hill Hold, Automatic Post-Collision Braking system, Bluetooth connectivity and an all new infotainment system.
The Option package will include Driver Alert System, Adaptive Cruise control and City Emergency Braking.
Volkswagen claims they will begin deliveries of the new Polo by July. However, the German car manufacturer will accept booking of the new Polo only after 23rd April.
