New Soul From KIA In 2014
KIA has launched their new Soul for 2014. The South-Korean car manufacturer will offer the new Soul in five option. The five variants available will be called Start, Connect, Connect Plus, Mixx and Maxx.

KIA has designed the all new soul as an SUV looking hatchback. The soul is a hatchback, that draws inspiration from their SUV models. 2014 Soul from KIA will be available from 12,600 Pounds for the base variant, while the top most variant will cost 21,500 Pound.
The South-Korean car manufacturer will offer a petrol as well as diesel engine option. The soul will sport a 1.6 litre petrol along with a 1.6 litre diesel mill. There has been no change in the engine and KIA will be providing similar engines to previous generation Soul.
The petrol powered Soul will produce 130bhp and won't be available in automatic transmission. The fuel economy has dropped owing to the bigger body kit and wheels too. The economy falls to 38.7 mpg in Soul's Maxx and Mixx variants. The other variants are said to return an economy of 41.5 mpg.
The soul powered by diesel is surprisingly more efficient than petrol. KIA will offer a six-speed automatic and a six-speed manual gearbox with their new Soul. The engine will churn out 126bhp, while delivering an economy of 56.5 mpg.
KIA's Soul diesel and petrol are neck to neck in performance. The petrol option goes from 0 to 62 mph in 10.6 seconds, while the diesel mill does 0 to 62 mph in 10.8 seconds. They achieve top speeds of 115 mph and 112 mph respectively.
KIA will offer the entry level Soul with matching color bumpers, mirror as well as door handles, air-con, steering mounted audio controls, DAB digital radio, USB, AUX, keyless entry, electric door mirrors and electrically powered windows. These are excellent features in a base variant itself.
The other option will get LED lights, heated seat, cooled glovebox, fog lights, reverse camera, special alloy wheels, urban styling pack and much more.
The 2014 Soul from KIA is on sale and can be purchased for 12,600 Pounds base option, while the feature rich option can be bought for 21,500 Pounds.
