Morgan Plus 4 At Geneva Motor Show Will Be The Most Powerful Yet
Morgan Plus 4 is the Morgan Motor Company's largest vintage style car, which has mostly remained unchanged since its introduction back in 1950. The car was launched as a replacement to the 4/4 model and it was in production till 1969.
The car came back into existence in 1985 this time it was in production till 2000 before grounding to a halt once again. The third and last time it was revived was in 2005 and has since been kept under production.
The Plus 4 is powered by a 1998cc Ford Duratec 2.0 liter four cylinder engine that produces a good 145 HP and 190 Nm of torque, transferring power to the road via a Mazda five-speed manual transmission.

It is safe to say that the Morgan Plus 4 is no V16 Coupe from the movie Captain America. The power produced by the Ford engine is just enough to take the car to 100 km/h in 7.5 seconds and on to a top speed 190 km/h. The fact that the car weighs just 877 kg does help in this case.
Autocar UK reports, citing an insider source, that Morgan will reveal the 2014 Plus 4 at the Geneva Motor Show and this will be "by far the most powerful Plus 4 ever built."
The report also says the Plus 4 will retain the 4 cylinder engine though, which could mean Morgan will fit the engine with a turbocharger.
There's nothing more to about about right now, but official details will be out soon enough.

The British automaker will also reveal the 2014 Morgan Three Wheeler at the Geneva Motor Show 2014, which starts tomorrow.
