New Audi Q5 To Go Into Production In 2016!
German car manufacturer Audi has long been producing luxurious SUVs, and have decided to give their their popular Q5 an update. The new Q5 is expected to come from the Four Rings facility in Mexico.
The new Q5 is expected to go into production from 2016 but won't be available until 2017.
The German manufacturer will use their new MLB Evo platform, which is expected to be used for their other vehicles too. Audi may utilise the same platform for their next-gen Q7 as well as the A4.

There will be a considerable difference between the platform Audi currently uses and the MLB Evo platform. The new MLB Evo platform will be lighter and stronger owing to its multi-material construction. The new platform will even be able to handle electric motors that could power the new Q5.
The 2016 Q5 is expected to be powered by either by a 4-cylinder and also a 6-cylinder power packed machine. There will also be a more sporty and powerful engine offering by Audi, the SQ5, which is expected to come with a V6 turbocharged engine.

Audi's 2016 Q5 will also be available as a plug-in hybrid. It will have a new system where the rear wheels will be powered by the electric motor. The front wheels will be powered by the conventional motor. It will have an all-wheel drive system, which Audi is well-known for.
The German automobile manufacturer is expected to introduce new gadgets within the cabin of the 2016 Q5. The vehicle will be more luxurious than it currently is and will definitely set a benchmark for its competitors.
