Audi A8L Launched in Bangalore, Prices Start At INR 1.15 Crore
German automaker Audi launched the new Audi A8L in Bangalore today. The all new flagship sedan sees prices starting from INR 1.15 crore for the 3.0 TDI variant, INR 1.26 crore for the 4.2 TDI Quattro variant, INR 1.30 crore for the 4.0 TFSI Quattro variant and INR 1.80 crore for the W12 variant. All prices are ex-showroom, Karnataka.
The new A8L offers several customisation options with more than 100 exterior colours, 23 leather interiors and 12 wooden inlays.
Audi claims to have given the A8L ‘the largest update in its history', with the engine hood, grille and front bumper getting more sculpted, and a completely redesigned rear end which includes a chrome brace integrated into the tail lights.
The engine line up now includes the V8 biturbo 4.0 TFSI with 435 horsepower, the 3.0 TDI with 250 horsepower, and the 4.2 TDI with 385 horsepower, while the A8L features an eight-speed Tiptronic transmission.
The latest sedan also gets Matrix LED headlights, that can deliver close to a billion illumination configurations. The new headlight system is a direct evolution of Audi's signature LED headlights, and comprises of 25 small, individual light emitting diodes per unit that allow it to react to oncoming or preceding vehicles and blank out light while still illuminating the rest of the road.
Some of the many interior features include adaptive air suspension, optional Bang & Olufsen Surround Sound System, Park Assist, Surround View Camera, panoramic sunroof, air ioniser, heads-up display, and more.
