Mitsubishi Lancer Evo Anniversary Edition UK Launch

Mitsubishi will be celebrating the Lancer Evo's 40th anniversary in UK market. As a treat to the British customers the Japanese manufacturer has launched a special edition named FQ-440 MR.

Many people believe that Mitsubishi is going to stop production of their Evo. There are many rumors regarding the Evo, it may get a hybrid engine in future.

The Evo FQ-440 MR anniversary edition will pack a 440 horsepower mill with 412 lb.ft torque. This power is generated thanks to the turbo from HKS, it is coupled with an exhaust system from Janspeed.

Mitsubishi will also provide the anniversary Lancer with a sports catalytic convertor, intercooler and air intake system.

The anniversary edition will feature a 6 Speed Twin Clutch Sports Shift Transmission (SST). The braking system is derived from Alcon. The car will also get Super-All Wheel Control (S-AWC) and a lowered suspension, makes it a combination for great handling.

Interiors too will receive an update in the form of leather steering wheel, cruise control, Recaro leather bucket seats, audio system from Rockford Fosgate, Climate control and Bluetooth.

Mitsubishi will also provide the anniversary edition Lancer Evo with bi-xenon headlamps, fog lamps, data recorder and PIAA motorsport silicone windscreen wipers.

The Lancer Evo FQ-440 MR will be available only in Frost White color. It will also be distinguished by the 18 inch BBS alloy wheels.

Mitsubishi will price this anniversary edition Lancer Evo FQ-440 MR at a price of 50,000 Pounds, in UK.
