Mercedes Launching ML63 AMG On 15th May
Mercedes will be introducing their latest AMG offering in India, the ML 63 AMG. Present at the launch will be Eberhard Kern, Managing Director and CEO, Mercedes-Benz India. The German automaker will launch their third AMG vehicle in India on 15th of May, 2014.
The ML 63 AMG will compete against the Porsche Macan Turbo and Range Rover Sport. The German luxury SUV maker will be powered by a 5.5-litre V8 Bi-Turbo engine and will generate 525 horsepower, along with 700 Nm of peak torque. The engine will be mated to AMG's Speedshift 7G-Tronic auto gearbox.

The AMG engine powering ML 63 will propel the SUV from 0 to 100 kph in a quick 4.8 seconds. Top speed of the ML 63 AMG will be electronically restricted to 250 kph.
The Three Pointed Star brand will get the ML 63 AMG to India as a CBU, or Completely Built Unit. The German is expected to price their SUV lower than the GL 63 AMG, which is priced at INR 1.66 crore ex-Mumbai. Power will go to all four wheels of the SUV through their 4MATIC system.

Mercedes will be adding new features to their ML 63 AMG, with minor changes to the exterior. Inside the cabin will be the major changes with even more luxurious updates. It will get AMG-specific parts like the steering wheel, seats and foot pedals.
The German luxury car manufacturer is expected to price their ML 63 AMG at lower price than their GL 63 AMG. The luxury SUV is expected to cost INR 1.4 crore ex-showroom Mumbai.
