Mercedes-Benz India To Launch New C-Class Tomorrow
Mercedes-Benz India will be launching their new C-Class sedan in India tomorrow on 25th of November, 2014. Their new sedan is being dubbed as the Baby S-Class of their stable. It will borrow several design cues from their flagship model.
The German automobile manufacturer has revealed its new C-Class already in Bangalore at the 2014 CeBIT. The new sedan will be officially launched tomorrow in New Delhi. Mercedes had first lifted the cover of new C-Class at North American International Show.
The new C-Class first debuted in December last year, however, Mercedes-Benz India focussed on other product launches. These included CLA45 AMG, GLA Class and GLA45 AMG as part of exploring new segments. They now have shifted their focus back to the new C-Class sedan.
We believe Mercedes-benz India could introduce features like PRE-SAFE braking system, ATTENTION ASSIST system, AIRMATIC air-suspension and several other tech goodies. These features are provided to international models, it is not clear if they will be fitted to the Indian model.
Mercedes-Benz India will be putting the new C-Class together at their facility in Pune, Maharashtra. The engine specifications have not been revealed, however, it will come fitted with a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox. We believe, they will offer the same engine with more performance extracted from the engine.
Surprisingly the German manufacturer has reported that it would launch only the petrol powered engines at launch time. The diesel powered C-Class will be launched at a later date. The new C-Class will be more premium and luxurious than the outgoing model.
Mercedes-Benz India will reveal pricing of its new C-Class sedan at the launch event on 25th of November, 2014. We believe it will be priced considerably higher than its predecessor. Stay tuned for more updates as the new C-Class will be launched tomorrow.
