Mercedes Benz India Slash Prices; Interim Budget
The luxury car manufacturer Mercedes Benz has been the No.1 choice in India for the rich and famous. With the latest budget by the F.M. of India and announcement in cut of excise taxes. The German manufacturer wants to share its joy, by slashing prices of their cars.
In January this year, Mercedes recorded increase in sales by 54% in India alone. During the recent auto expo the German car maker displayed thirteen of its offerings.
Two cars were unveiled at the 2014 Auto Expo, CLA 45 AMG and a production ready GLA. Mercedes also launched their armoured vehicle the M-class aka M-Guard, for people who need protection. It will cost VIPs only Rs. 2.49 crores ex-Delhi.

"We welcome the Indian government's interim budget announcement to reduce duty on cars and SUVs and expect this to significantly boost the automobile industry," explained Eberhard Kern, Managing Director and CEO, Mercedes Benz India
He further added,"Mercedes-Benz shall pass on the best possible price benefit to our customers inspite of volatile foreign exchange movements."

Mercedes Price Slash
Since the Interim Budget of India for 2014-2015 was announced and a cut in excise duty on cars. Mercedes Benz India has translated this by cutting prices on certain of its offerings like C-class, E-class and GL-class.

Mercedes C-class Price And Details
Mercedes has reduced the price of the C-class from Rs. 39,90 lakhs to Rs. 39,35 lakhs. However, this is ex-Delhi prices and for their C 220 Ava grand edition.

Mercedes E-class Price And Details
The E-class will now be available at Rs. 46,90 lakhs, it was earlier priced at Rs. 47,66 lakhs. This too is ex-Delhi prices for the E 250 CDI model.

Mercedes GL-class Price and Details
Mercedes GL-class prices will be lowered from Rs. 74 lakhs to Rs. 72 lakhs, a difference of Rs. 2 lakhs. The German Car maker has learnt the trick to impress Indian car buyers.
