McLaren 650S Teased; Geneva Motor Show Debut
Its not everyday that McLaren announces a new product launch. So, when it does it ought to be good. Debuting at the upcoming 2014 Geneva Motor Show will be new supercar model named 650S.
The only thing about the car that's been confirmed is the name, which is clearly seen in the teaser image that McLaren has released. The only other thing McLaren has said about the car is it's been "Designed and developed to offer the enthusiast driver the ultimate in luxury, engagement and excitement, as well as dramatic yet beautiful styling."

We also know that the McLaren 650S will be placed between the MP4-12C and the P1 and that's its been developed by incorporating learnings from both these cars.
This reminds us about the news that came out last month. That about a high performance version of the 12C to rival the Ferrari 458 Speciale. Also, the ‘S' and the ‘650' in the name hints at a sportier engine with a power output of 650 HP, that is roughly 50 HP more than the 12C.
The 650S is likely to sport a modified version of the 3.8 liter twin turbo V8 engine from the 12C that'll likely power a car based on the P1's design.
We won't have to wait long for more details about the McLaren 650S as they will be made public before the launch of the car at the Geneva Motor Show, which will be on the 4th of March.
