Mazda Order Recall For Rust Issue
The Japanese car manufacturer Mazda like many other manufacturers recently has ordered for a recall of their cars. They have recalled one of their older SUV vehicles for rust issues. The recall will involve roughly 1,09,000 vehicles from the past.
Mazda are recalling their Tribute SUV, which was manufactured between 2004 and 2001. The Japanese company believes their frame could rust and the wheel arm could separate from the main frame. This could result in losing control of the vehicle, while steering.

The Tribute was sold specially in 20 states, these places have snowfall and they use salt to clear it from roads. This could be the result for damage or deterioration of the frame underneath.
Mazda will notify the owners of the Tribute SUV by means of letters. They can then go to their dealer and get the problem corrected. The Japanese car manufacturer will rectify the problem by adding a reinforcement brace.

A similar issue was noticed with Ford's Escape during April, 2014. Ford had recalled over 3,86,000 vehicles and rectified the problem.
Mazda offered the Tribute in a variety of engine options. It was available in a 2.5-litre engine that produced 171 horsepower along with 232 Nm of peak torque. They also offered a powerful 3.0 litre V6 engine, which generated 240 horsepower and 316 Nm of peak torque.
