Maruti Suzuki Queen Of The Road Contest On Women’s Day
Maruti Driving Schools if the official institute managed by the automaker which provides car driving training, awareness about rules and instills road sense. On the occasion of International Women's Day Maruti has announced special discounts and women who enroll in Maruti Driving School and also started its Queen of the Road contest which is now in its second year.
As part of the promotional offering Maruti Driving Schools will provide a flat discount of 25 percent on basic learner's program and a Rs 750 discount on its advanced training program. The latter is for people who know driving but are looking to brush up their skills.

Maruti "Queen of the Road" is a contest that will be held throughout March. Participants have to be over 18 years and will need to undergo three rounds of tests which will include an online test and a practical driving test at the Maruti Driving School in which they have enrolled.

One winner from 4 zones will be selected based on their performance and they will be declared the ‘Queen of the Road'. The winners will also be provided with a cash prize of Rs 50,000.
Mahesh Rajoria, Chief General Manager, Maruti Suzuki, said, "Driving is now being considered a mother skill and Maruti Suzuki has been committed to empowering women drivers by way of focused learning and awareness programs. Today, there are over 300 Maruti Driving Schools nationwide and amongst all the learners, we have successfully trained over 40% women through our network. The main aim of this year's initiative is to draw attention to safe driving practices and enhance opportunities for women to commute effectively and confidently, on their own. Special efforts such as having women trainers and instructors have made Maruti Driving Schools a popular choice."
