Maruti Suzuki Launching Next-Gen Alto K10 On 4th November
Maruti Suzuki is on a roll and have been launching several interesting products in India. They began the year with its Celerio launch, which was followed by Ciaz and recently they introduced a refreshed version of its Swift hatchback.
On the 4th of November, 2014 Maruti Suzuki will be launching its next-gen Alto K10. The hatchback was a popular choice prior to launch of their Celerio. The manufacturer will be providing its vehicle with a mild facelift, no major changes are expected.
The next-gen Alto K10 model gets a three-cylinder 1.0-litre K-Series engine. It will be churn out maximum power output of 67.04 bhp, along with a peak torque output of 90 Nm. The Japanese engineers will tune this engine to extract more fuel efficiency.
Maruti Suzuki will provide its hatchback with petrol and CNG fuel options. The engine will paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox. An optional AMT version will also be offered, just like in the Celerio hatchback.
The 2014 Alto K10 by Maruti Suzuki will borrow several design cues from its Alto 800 and Celerio. The Japanese manufacturer will provide six trim options for buyers to choose from. Next-Gen Alto K10 will sport new bumpers, headlamps and air intakes.
Maruti Suzuki dealers have commenced booking procedure for the 2014 Alto K10. The hatchback can be booked for a sum of INR 10,000 and deliveries are expected to begin soon post the launch. We expect the next-gen Alto K10 to get a sub three lakh, ex-showroom price tag.
