Mark Webber Thrills Maria Sharapova In A Porsche
Former Red Bull Racing Formula One driver Mark Webber took tennis female superstar, Maria Sharapova for a thrilling drive in Porsche's 918 Spyder. The Australian drove around Stuttgart, Germany.
We have found a video of them enjoying the driving comforts of the Porsche 918 Spyder. The Russian tennis ace did not drive the car but was thrilled by the Australian's driving ability.
Sharapova is currently seeded ninth in WTA's women's ranking in tennis. The video was posted after she won the Porsche Grand Prix tournament a day prior.
The Porsche 918 Spyder sports a 4.6-litre, V8 engine along with an electric motor, which makes it a hybrid. The engine produces a combined torque of 1,275 Nm along with 887 bhp.
Porsche claims this is their fastest and most advanced vehicle that has been produced for masses. The German car manufacturer have priced their 918 Spyder at 1.2 million Dollars.
Maria Sharapova is the current brand ambassador for Porsche and she claimed that the 918 Spyder was out of her budget. We guess she was being sarcastic and was kidding with the people. She is the highest paid tennis star among females for a period of nine years.
Mark Webber currently drives for Porsche in the FIA World Endurance Championship and claimed the 918 Spyder to be a great handler.
Porsche had decided they would build only 918 models of the 918 Spyder and if you are planning to buy one we are sorry to tell you all have been sold.
