Land Rover 25th Anniversary; Special Edition
Land Rover is celebrating their 25th anniversary year and what better way, than to launch Discovery XXV Special Edition. This was their most earlier launched vehicles, a great family SUV.
It was first introduced in 1989, the Discovery changed the way people looked at a 4x4. It combined contemporary design, spacious and user friendly interiors and versatility.
Every new generation of the Land Rover Discovery has maintained its position as a capable and versatile SUV.
XXV special edition is based on HSE Luxury specs and has been built to celebrate 25 years of Land Rover magic. The special edition vehicle has unique interior, distinctive external badging and premium interiors using Windsor leather.
"Since its inception the Land Rover Discovery has been pivotal to the success of the brand and has now become an iconic design in its own right. Discovery has led the way in terms of innovation, featuring technologies such as Terrain Response, which made off-roading much more accessible. The Discovery XXV Special Edition is the ultimate in sophisticated versatility and a fitting tribute to the legendary status of this iconic Land Rover," explains Phil Popham, Group Marketing Director at Jaguar Land Rover.

The Special Edition uses Discovery's HSE Luxury spec. Features such as the fascia, the instrument panel binnacle and door top rolls are generously lined with Windsor leather.
The XXV will have a unique interior colour way in Cirrus. Also, luxurious highlights will include twist pile carpet mats and a leather-wrapped wooden steering wheel. Subtle XXV embossing through the interiors adds to the premium quality of British workmanship.
The Special Edition Discovery will be available in Causeway Grey and will feature Narvik Black grille surrounds and mirror caps. A Dark Atlas on the grille and fender vents will be added. Silver full-length roof rails, body-coloured handles and a stainless steel bumper add to exterior styling.
It will also feature XXV badging on the front door and tailgate. It will be fitted with new 20" five spoke forged alloy wheels in a light silver polish look.
