Lamborghini Urus Will Be Ready By 2017
Lamborghini unveiled the concept Urus in 2012, which gave life to SUV lovers. The purists, however will dislike the thought itself of an Italian supercar diverting attention to the premium SUV segment.
The Urus surely knows to strike a pose. It was well accepted by the masses and Italian supercar maker dropped several cues that production was evident. Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkelmann has confirmed the project.
He added,"the luxury SUV market is poised to continue to grow." a production ready Urus will be on road in 2017.
The other premium SUVs like Porsche Cayenne and BMW X5 have been selling good numbers. Which is one of the reasons why Lamborghini wants a piece of the pie.
It is however, unclear if the Urus will get its own unique platform or share something from the Volkswagen. We think underpinnings will be shared from the upcoming Bentley SUV, however the two will be have their own unique personality.
One way or the other the Raging Bull will have a SUV in its arsenal soon.
