Video: Pushing The LaFerrari XX Suspension To Breaking Point
Designing a hypercar needs a mind blowing amount of engineering. Tweaking it up even more is just madness. Ferrari have made this possible with the latest LaFerrari XX.
The track-only car is being tested in Europe, and was put through its paces in Monza when all of a sudden around a corner, its rear right wheel gets way out of position, snapping backwards.
This could have been the suspension that gave way under too much pressure.

It may have been a reason of adding a few more horses under the hood. But this still being a prototype and just being tested around the track, it could have been a fault of just pushing the car around too hard.
The driver, inspite of this, carries on driving, but finishes his lap and halts.
Launching next year, the LaFerrari XX is almost bringing F1 technology to the streets. Rumors have it saying that Ferrari might ditch its V12 engine for a F1 based V6 turbo hybrid engine. The car was even spotted testing with this engine.
At the moment, let no one forget the numbers this hypercar produces, 789 bhp, 6.3-litre V12 engine with an additional electric motor that adds another 161 bhp, totals it to a whopping 950 bhp.
Watching this video, looks like Ferrari have a lot more work and testing to do before they can launch the new LaFerrari XX next year.
