Ken Block's Ford F-150 RaptorTRAX Is Everyone's Dream Toy
When you are Ken Block you get what you want quite easily. A pickup truck on caterpillar tracks for instance. What you see in the image below is called the RaptorTRAX. A Ford F-150 Raptor pickup truck specially modified on request by Ken Block.
This Ford F-150 RaptorTRAX is described as the ultimate backcountry snowboard expedition vehicle and has even been dubbed the world's fastest snowcat for backcountry snowboarding. However, Ken Block will most be using it for travelling around the snow covered environ in which he currently lives in.
"I absolutely love my daily driver Ford Raptor, especially since I live out here in the mountains of Park City, so to build out this mountain assault vehicle with a Raptor as the base platform made total sense to me," Ken Block said. "It's an absolute beast of a machine and I'm stoked with how it's turned out. Next up is for me to take it deep into the backcountry ASAP to help me and some friends slay some powder on our snowboards," he added.

The Ford F-150 RaptorTRAX was build by California's Special Vehicle Concepts and comes with a range of equipments and accessories including snowboard racks, a roof basket, a rear-mounted winch, interior storage to keep eatables, an exterior stereo system in case the owner wants to have an open air party and exterior-mounted Rigid Industries lighting.
Besides these features the Ford F-150 Raptor on caterpillar tracks (Mattracks tracks to be specific) is also equipped with a full roll cage, Recaro seating and heavy duty off-road suspension. Last, but not the least, the truck is powered by a Whipple supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine.
We are not sure we'll get to see Ken Block drifting his RartorTRAX in his next video since we are not sure you can drift with four caterpillar tracks at all. So, in case you want to have a look at the the Ford F-150 RaptorTRAX in person head over to the Winter X Games in Aspen, Colorado where it will be put on display.
