A Junior Aston Martin DB Convertible

By Ajinkya

Nowadays almost everyone can buy a nice, brand new car. However, none of that makes sense if you age 10 and have no place to drive.

Aston Martin's DB Convertible Junior is engineered to give you the same thrill of speed and exclusivity. So, now you and your parent can drive into a driveway in separate Aston's.

The junior car does cost a load of money, however it features a real Aston steel box section chassis, wooden steering wheel, Brembo disc brakes, a composite coachwork and leather or vinyl seats based on preference.

Aston junior sports a 110cc engine and can deliver a top speed of 46mph, thus Brembo brakes are justified. The top speed of the car can be restricted by Parent, if they feel the need.

The car will feature key operated start function, it will also sport a 3 speed semi auto transmission. It is identical to a full size car with lights, indicators and a horn. The Junior will measure just 2500mmx1030mm.

"When we first saw the DB Junior we couldn't stop smiling. We then realised that these scaled-down 1960s convertibles would complement full-sized offerings here in our showrooms," explained Managing Director Nicholas Mee.

He further added, "What's more, we regularly have enquiries from our clients looking for something unusual and different to add to their collection of classics. You'd be surprised how well the DB Junior is engineered, and how much room there is in the cockpit. It's big enough for an adult and the pedals can be adjusted so that the DB Junior will fit a wide range of drivers. Let's say ‘junior drivers of all ages'."

The Aston Martin DB Convertible Junior will be priced at 16,500 pounds. So, if you are rich and want to treat your kids as you would treat yourself, get them one of these.
