Jaguar Land Rover 2014 Auto Expo Lineup
Tata Motors' profit making luxury brand Jaguar Land Rover is set to showcase four new models at tomorrow's Auto Expo, which includes two facelifts and a sports coupe.
2014 Discovery
Revealed during last year's Frankfurt Motor Show, the 2014 Discovery facelift will be one of the important new models that will be on display in JLR's space at the Expo. The facelifted Discovery, gets a new front grille, new headlights with LED daytime running lights, two new alloy wheels and more. Also, the earlier ‘Land Rover' badging on the bonnet is replaced with ‘Discovery'
Besides the visual upgrades, the new Discovery also gets a more refined 3.0 liter V6 diesel unit that comes mated to an 8 speed ZF transmission.
2014 Evoque
The all new Evoque, like the new Discovery, gets several visual upgrades, along with features such as Wade Sensing System and Traffic Sign Recognition. But the feature we are looking forward to the most is the new 9 speed ZF transmission. The advantage of a 9 speed transmission is the fuel economy it offers.
Range Rover Long Wheelbase
The Range Rover L was debuted at the Dubai Motor Show last year and as the name suggest, it offers additional 140 mm extra rear legroom. The extra space also allows the rear seats to be reclined by as much as 17 degrees. The Range Rover Long Wheelbase also gets a few other features such as three exclusive colours, larger wheels among others.
Jaguar F-Type Coupe
Definitely one of the most anticipated cars of the year in India, the coupe version of the F-Type will be seen in our country for the first time. It remains to be seen whether or not JLR will launch the F-Type coupe at the Expo. You can read more about the F-Type Coupe here.
