Indian National Drag Racing Championship Results
The JK Tyre - FMSCI Indian National Drag Racing Championship (INDRC), which was held in the Kari Motor Speedway in Coimbatore recently saw over 250 cars and bikes taking place to fight for the top spot.
The event was conducted by the Coimbatore city based Spitfire Motorsports Pvt. Ltd and Hyderabad based Speedway Motorsports.
The participants included people from Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Madurai, Tuticorin, Nagercoil and Kerala.

After the intense battle, which was decided by milliseconds, Joel Joseph from Bangalore emerged victorious in the four wheeler segment, driving a first-generation Honda City VTEC, winning both the Indian open, with a time of 15.466 seconds as well as the unrestricted class with a time of 15.381 seconds.
In the two wheeler category, Rizwan Khan from Karnataka, emerged victorious on his Yamaha R1 in the unrestricted class, winning both rounds, with a best time of 8.294 seconds.
