IndoSpace Chakan Leases Out Manufacturing Facility To ATS Automation
IndoSpace, the country's largest developer of industrial and logistics real estate, has leased a 64,000 sq ft light manufacturing facility to ATS Automation. The facility is located in the IndoSpace Industrial Park Chakan I.
ATS Automation Tooling Systems Inc. is a leading global provider of custom-built, automated production, assembly and test systems.
ATS Automation offers an extensive range of manufacturing technology and expertise to deliver turnkey manufacturing solutions, from product assembly and testing to specialized processing machinery.
The aforementioned state-of-the-art facility will be utilised to manufacture assembly systems for Automotive (Transportation), Life sciences and consumer industry.
Speaking about the new manufacturing plant in Pune, Rajendra Phatak, Managing Director, ATS said, "Large international manufacturers use Pune as a springboard for international markets like Europe and North America, and wherever they go, their suppliers follow. India promises attractive medium and long-term growth prospects for several of our targeted industrial markets."
He added further, "The commissioning of this new facility in Pune is intended to help ATS leverage the growth potential of the Indian market."
